While my in-laws were in town, I pulled out my sewing machine to finish our Wedding Guestbook Quilt. Indeed, we've been married for a year and a half, so you can imagine how long this has been a WIP. I was very happy with the way it turned out. And having my MIL here to assure me that my sewing machine wasn't going to eat my arm (or my project), I am no longer afraid of it! Hopefully this means many wonderful sewing projects are in my future.
This is the fabulous crib bedding I can thank my Dear MIL for sewing together. Being new to the sewing machine, there was no way I was going to tackle high-loft batting and piping all in the same project.
